The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Glorifying GOD

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31

This verse reminds us that God’s children should not participate in anything which does not bring glory to God. All the thoughts in our minds and all the motives in our hearts must be pleasing to God.

Whether we find ourselves alone or in the company of others, our attitudes and actions must reflect Christ’s character in us. It is important to have a clear conscience, and we should refrain from displaying our freedom in Christ in a manner that could cause us to stumble in our Christian journey and also for other believers.

May we take this simple instruction from Paul and recognize that anything done without conviction is a sin. Let us seek God’s help to humble ourselves and transform us to be His chosen vessel, so that He must be increased and we ought to be decreased in all that we do.
