The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Death is defeated

Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. – Romans 6:9

Late President Abraham Lincoln occupies a special place in American history as the “Great Emancipator”, for his role in freeing southern slaves during the Civil War. He was shot in the head in 1865, and eventually died. Many who are proclaimed as Gods/Goddesses in this world, are dead and are buried in their graves. Death is the fact of life and none of us are exempt.

However, a rich man’s tomb in Jerusalem, that laid the body of Jesus after He was crucified, lays empty to this day. Our Jesus is the Greatest Emancipator ever, who died on a cross, rose again on the third day, to set captives free! His grave is the only one that is empty! Jesus defeated death, never to die again, and broke the power of the grave! Hallelujah!

Are you hurting and broken within? Overwhelmed by the weight of sin and the chains of this world? Our risen savior is still freeing captives from their bondages. Run to Jesus, His arms are open wide to receive you today!

Happy Easter!
