“Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” – Psalm 106:1
In our busy lives, it’s easy to get caught up in our daily routines and responsibilities, often forgetting to express gratitude for the goodness and mercy of our God. However, Psalm 106:1 calls us to pause, to lift our voices in praise, and to give thanks to the Lord.
Gratitude at heart is like a special glasses to our eyes. If we look at God with gratitude of special glasses, we can see His goodness and mercy in our lives. When we pause and reflect on God’s faithfulness, we realize that His mercy endures forever. It is not limited by our circumstances or shortcomings but reaches beyond them, embracing us with unfailing love.
Let’s make gratitude a daily practice. In the busyness of life, let’s take moments to intentionally thank God for His provision, guidance, and grace. So today, let’s heed the call of Psalm 106:1 and praise the Lord with grateful hearts.
