The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Experience to reflect true love!

We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

In this beautiful verse, the Apostle John captures the essence of Christianity in just seven words.

This statement serves as a powerful reminder that love cannot be created or summoned by our own efforts. It is not a fleeting emotion that arises from our best thoughts or deeds. Love is a precious gift, freely given by God, who first loved us unconditionally. Understanding this truth, we are called and expected to respond to this gracious gift by extending love towards others in our lives.

Consider this: God loved us even when we didn’t deserve it. He loved us in our brokenness, disobedience, and rebelliousness. His love transcends all our flaws and iniquities, both then and now. Through His love, we have come to understand the true meaning of love.

Therefore, let us seek to understand His love, bask in it, and share it with everyone around us – the good, the bad, and those who are difficult to love. Let us demonstrate His love through tangible acts of kindness, generosity, and forgiveness towards those who have wronged us. Let us embrace the inherent value of every human being as His beloved creation, without regard for race, gender, social status, religion, or nationality. By doing so, we will ignite in others the same liberating love that God has freely given us.

So today, when the road ahead seems long and burdens weigh heavy, let us fix our eyes on our gracious Father, who first breathed love into us. Let us linger in His loving embrace and allow it to empower us to love without reservation. Together, let us break barriers of hate and condemnation, rising above divisive situations with God’s pure love. We have the ability to make a difference in the world. Let our words serve as an inspirational testimony – “we love because God, in His lavish love, first loved us.” This is what unites us as ambassadors of His grace.

As we begin our day today, let us remind ourselves that we are created with love and care, regardless of our response. We must strive to reflect this love throughout our day. Let us take up the challenge of asking God to help us complete this challenge every day of our lives.

Promise: “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”

Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, we start this day, we come before you with humble hearts and grateful spirits. We acknowledge that it is by your love and grace that we are here, breathing and alive. We thank you for the gift of your unconditional love, which surpasses our understanding and reaches us in our brokenness.

Lord, we recognize that we cannot love as we ought to without your help. We ask for your guidance and strength as we embark on this challenge of reflecting your love throughout our day. Fill our hearts with your love, that it may overflow and touch the lives of those around us.

Help us to see others through your eyes, without judgment or prejudice. Teach us to extend kindness, generosity, and forgiveness, even to those who have wronged us. Give us the courage to break down barriers of hate and condemnation, choosing instead to rise above divisive situations with your pure love.

Father, we pray for the wisdom to embrace the value of every human being, seeing them as your beloved creation. Help us to love without regard for race, gender, social status, religion, or nationality. May our actions and words be a testament to the unifying power of your love.

In moments when the road seems long and burdens weigh heavy, remind us to fix our eyes on you, our gracious Father. Wrap us in your loving embrace and empower us to love without reservation. Grant us the strength to make a difference in the world, one act of love at a time.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus, who showed us the ultimate example of love. Amen.
