As children of God, we are called to be a light in this world. We are chosen and set apart to fulfill a purpose that only we can do, for we are made in the image of the Almighty God. We are not made to settle for mediocrity or live a life that is devoid of purpose. Our lives are meant to be impactful, leaving a mark that will cause others to glorify our Father in heaven.
1 Corinthians 6:20 says, “For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Let these words serve as a reminder of the incredible price that was paid for each of us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He died for us so that we may have eternal life and purpose in this world. His sacrifice is the ultimate expression of love, and it is our duty to honor His sacrifice by living our lives for His glory.
We must strive to embody the characteristics of Christ in all aspects of our lives, including our careers, relationships, and personal development. We must use our God-given talents and abilities to be a positive influence on others, knowing that our existence serves a higher purpose. Find inspiration in the life of Jesus and the influential figures in the Bible, such as David, Esther, and Paul, who lived in faith and obedience to God’s divine plan for their lives.
Let us aim to be persuasive, highly motivated, and impulsive towards fulfilling God’s will in our lives. Let our passion for Him be reflected in everything we do, whether it be small or great.
Let’s start your day, remembering that you were bought at a price, and you have a unique role to play in this world. May you fulfill your divine purpose as you seek to glorify God in your body and in your spirit. May His abounding grace be with you always!

Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, thank You for reminding us of Your incredible love and purpose for our lives. We are grateful for the sacrifice of Your son, Jesus Christ, who died for us so that we can have eternal life and fulfill our unique purpose on this earth.
We pray that, as we go about our lives, we will be a light for You – using our talents to guide others to Your love and inspire them to follow Your divine plan. May we be reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, that You have a plan for us – to prosper us, not to harm us, but to give us a future of hope and blessings.
And when we face challenges or uncertainties, may we remember the promise in Romans 8:28 – that You are working all things together for our good. May we trust in You and seek Your will, knowing that You have a divine purpose for our lives.
We ask for Your strength and guidance as we pursue Your purpose for our lives. May all that we do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ Holy Name we pray Amen.
