Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
We might have been to a maze, filled with countless twists and turns. Everybody thinks that their way in the maze is right, but suddenly there is a dead-end. Navigating through it seems discouraging, and reaching the destination appears almost impossible. To come to an exit out of the maze, there is only one way and all other ways have deadends.
Likewise, our journey on Earth is like a maze. Birth on the earth marks our entrance, and heaven is our exit. Many attempt various routes to reach heaven, but they find themselves stuck. Today’s verse, spoken by Jesus, is a profound declaration. When He says, “I am the way,” He becomes the exclusive path to heaven. No one can reach the Father except through Jesus. Don’t be misled by other routes; they all lead to dead-ends. In the maze of life, let’s follow Jesus to have a guaranteed place in heaven.
