I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Ezek. 36:27
My Spirit within you – The Spirit regenerates our being so that we are now devoted to pleasing God rather than our fleshly passions.
Cause you to walk in my statutes – Not only to believe and reverence God’s commandments but we shall walk in them, our conduct shall be regulated by them.
Keep my judgments and do them – We shall not only avoid every appearance of evil but keep all God’s ordinances unblameable at His sight.
May we pray that God gives us the desire and power we need to overcome the flesh and live for God.
