“Ye are bought with a price therefore glorify God in your body” 1 Corinthians 6:20
According to the dictionary ” To Glorify” is to praise or honor someone to an extreme extent. It takes a step further in Glorifying than just complimenting. The ultimate intention of God in creating Man is to Glorify Him.
Glorifying God is not constrained to just the church premises but its an everyday act of life.
As we are purchased by His blood our body is very precious in His sight as He indwells in us. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
In 1 Peter 4:11 – Our speech should be as utterances of God and our service by the strength of God. It glorifies God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 – Our eating and drinking should glorify God.
John 15:8 – Bearing much Fruit glorifies God
Whatever we do should glorify God especially our thought life. Better or worse starts in Man’s mind. This is where Satan actively works thereby lets us dis-glorify God. We need only his divine help. May we ask and receive His help in glorifying God in our body.
