"So shall the king greatly desire the beauty; for he is thy lord; and worship thou him." Psa. 45:11
Oath of Christ to His Church
The beauty lies in the righteousness and holiness of Christ, being washed from all sins, in the salvation, in having the presence of God. It is not natural, not an outward, but an inward beauty. This is greatly desired by Christ that the beauty may behold his glory.
Not only by creation, but by redemption, as well as on account of other relations as GOD the Father, Head, and King. It is a great privilege that he is our Lord.
Worship internally by faith, hope, and love. Worship externally by praying, praising, doing everything in his name according to his word, and by his authority. Such worship should be in spirit and in truth, with reverence and godly fear.
Dear Lord: Thank you for your sovereignty, gentleness, power, protection towards us. We will worship you in holiness and without hypocrisy, and exalt your name above all names. Amen!
