Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God. 1 Jn. 3:1
God’s love for us is unique, and while we were still sinners, he sent his only son, Jesus Christ into this world to die on the cross for our sake, so that our sins are forgiven and we have eternal life. Thus, he established a relationship with us and became our Heavenly Father, calling us his own. The wonderful plan of salvation began with the love of the Father.
As we’ve established a relationship with our Father and are associated with him, we are to worship him in spirit and in truth. Since the LORD is pure, we are supposed to be pure in our hearts, minds and bodies. We will meet him face-to-face one day, and he will look for his children who are holy and blameless.
Prayer – Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me the right to be called your child. Teach me to be holy and blameless. I seek your kingdom and your righteousness. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
