Each day brings us many challenging situations be it at work, home, church or society especially for a believer. Our life is a continuous battle where we fall into one of the 3 categories: Conquer,concede or Compromise. Though we want to conquer every battle, it is a fair acknowledgement that we fall into the other 2 categories more often..
God created man to rule everything that was created (Gen 1:26 -28). But, man lost this dominion by sinning against God and has fallen from the position of ruling over a lion to the position of being frightened by a dog. Is it not true even in our lives? We find it difficult to face a small problem, a small sickness, a small inconvenience these days. but God does not want us to live a defeated or compromising life. He wants us to be victorious and has laid the process for it. As this verse says, “we are more than conquerors through him”. The key to be victorious is to have the victor on our side.
May we ask him today to take charge as the captain of our lives and lead us in every battle that we are going to face. We will sure be victorious if He leads and directs us.
