The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

This is the way, walk ye in it

Thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it. Isa. 30:21

All of us are familiar with the concept of the GPS. Though we might not use that now when we travel from our houses to our work or on Sunday’s as we have been on the same way many times and can drive without the help of the GPS, just remember when we first came here and took our first car. Without GPS it was impossible to move out. And at that time, the confidence that GPS gave us was immense. We reached our destinations accurately on time and without having to go around. How was that possible? We just listened to what GPS told us and followed the instructions. That’s all!!!

Our God is a God of Compassion and Grace. Once we are born again, we are led by his spirit (eternal, heavenly GPS). He not only called us sons of God, but as a loving father guides his children, he has given us the privilege of being guided by him while on this earth, with his spirit who is with us when we read his word, saying , This is the way, walk ye in it.

Our duty is to just obey. To obey we have to listen. To listen we have to spend time with him and wait for him. V 18 says, “Blessed are they that wait for him”.

As we begin today, may we all say, “Father, I am waiting for your direction”! If we do our part, HE HAS ALREADY DONE HIS PART!
