The God of all grace, …make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Pet. 5:10.
The song “He’s still working on me”, reminds us that “it took him just a week to make the moon and stars, the sun and the earth and jupiter and mars”. The same God is working patiently in our lives. It’s already much much more than a week and if not God’s longsuffering we would have been consumed.
In the BIBLE, God is compared to a potter, a blacksmith, a shepherd, a laborer, a watchman, a hen, an Eagle, an architect and many more. All these characters show how he works in us.
When HE works it is bound to be perfect as, his way is perfect(Psa 18:30 ). What is HE working for? To perfect, stablish, strengthen and settle us. That’s his promise.
HE WILL DO IT.
