We must clean before expecting good fruits.
Ezekiel 36:29.
“I will cleanse you of your filthy behavior. I will give you good crops of grain, and I will send no more famines on the land.”
We can understand this verse by splitting this into three parts. Cleansing, growth, and no famine. This chapter must be interpreted to speak of a literal Israel, a real land, and a natural regeneration, leading towards a literal kingdom under the Messiah. God has His method of blessing His people, and the first part of the method is to bless His people and to cleanse them. Just take your time and focus on the word of God. Why is cleaning required before expecting growth? Which cleansing was described here in this verse? How does the cleansing process take place? What type of growth is getting propheciesed in this chapter? Is that growth just growth from the land, or the future of the people of Israel? What type of famine was described in this verse? Cleansing process was described in this, is the cleanliness from our sins, which can only be done by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ and then the restoration of comforts. After the restoration, God has given the promise to lay no famine upon His people; neither a famine of bread, or of water; nor of hearing the word of the Lord; but shall have plenty of provisions, both for the soul and body; see Amos 8:11.
