Psalm 119:18.
“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things in your law.”
No one can see the wonderful things for what they really are without God’s supernatural help. In this verse, the psalmist mentioned the word “law” is “Torah” which means “instructions” or “teaching.” There are wonderful things in God’s teaching for us. They are so wonderful that when we see them, it changes us profoundly and empowers holiness and love and missions (2 Corinthians 3:18). Which is why reading, knowing, meditating and memorizing the word of God is so crucial. We must pray to God to receive His supernatural illumination when we are reading and meditating the word of God.
