*Zion Calendar Verse – November 7*
I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee. Acts 18:10
Paul senses terrible fear. Keep in mind how he had suffered persecution so much for his precious Master. Perhaps he was shrinking from having to face it all again. God met the need of His servant with a vision of the Lord Jesus Himself. It was the presence of the Lord that encouraged Paul.
Great men of God carry the presence of God with them. “I am with you”. The same word of Matt 28:18-20 echoes here. Whether in Corinth or Canada or Calcutta, let us seek the fullness of His Holy Spirit which translates into His presence. This emboldens us and enables us to reciprocate with faithfulness to the vision.
Many times, we set out to hurt ourselves. The wicked flee when no man pursueth – Pro 28:1. Having the confidence that “He is with us”, may we be encouraged that no man can set out to hurt us today.
