The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Rejoice evermore!!!

*Rejoice in the Lord always, Again i will say, rejoice! Phil 4:4*

It sounds strange that a prisoner tells a church to rejoice – not once or twice but 11 times!

In this Letter of Joy to Philippians he talks of Joy in Suffering…Joy in Serving…Joy in Believing…and Joy in Giving!!

The word REJOICE speaks of delight, merry, cheer and celebration _ a heart overwhelmed with JOY can't stop REJOICING.

But here Paul talks about that inner celebration or the rejoicing of our heart that is not affected by the outer circumstances.

– as in Hab. 3:17,18:- amidst difficulties and severe loss, our God enables us to REJOICE.

– as in Matt. 5:12 & 1Pet.4:13:- during persecution we REJOICE with exceeding Joy!

God has already filled us with Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory, when He wrote our names in heaven (ref. Luke 10:20 & John 16:22.)

Hence let us rejoice in the hope of the glory of God as in Rom. 5:2

It's God's Will concerning You to REJOICE Evermore
