Though the mountains be shaken.. my unfailing love for you will not be shaken. Isaiah – 54:10
Love is referred to as Agape in Greek. God’s Agape love is unmerited, gracious, constantly seeking the benefit of the ones He loves, unconditional, unfailing. God does not merely love but His nature itself is love. He loves us not because we deserve to be loved but because of His nature. The love of God is always the same despite our circumstances.
Whatever He does for us flows from his love. Though the mountains be shaken which is impossible yet His love will never be shaken.
Out of man's wickedness and repeated sins even after several rebukes, God might afflict and hide His face from them anticipating their return. Still He never fails to love them.
May we dwell in His Agape love and realize that we are precious in His sight.
