The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Who do you think knows at all.

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” Matthew 6:8

Jesus wants his followers to be free from worry. I have three children. I love to meet their needs. But our knowing falls short of God’s. We claim that as parents we know what our kids need, but in reality, our knowing of their needs are very limited, in at least three ways. Unless we see their homework or their school results, we don’t know how they are doing in their studies. Sometimes we need someone else to help us to overcome with their challenges, in their studies. Secondly, we don’t have any idea what they are thinking at a particular time or what type of trouble they are facing in their lives.

Lastly, we don’t know what will happen to them in their lives tomorrow and will they be able to succeed or not. There may be things happening to them now, or may happen tomorrow that we do not even have any clue about. But it is totally different with our Father in heaven. He knows everything about us now and tomorrow, inside and out. He knows our every single need. So, let’s be together focusing on his words and trusting His promises, to meet our needs. That’s what Jesus is giving us by saying, “Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”
