The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Cultivate Love and Peace

The God of love and peace shall be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
As we bid farewell to this month of April, we see here Paul is giving his final greeting to the church at Corinth. He gives his final exhortations and Paul encouraged the saints to cultivate grace, love, and peace. When we strive for Love, peace among the brethren,  and live in peace with practiced one mind, the wars would cease and they would enjoy peace in their fellowship. That does not mean that everyone will agree on everything, but that believers agree to disagree over matters that are not essential.
Balanced Christian growth and ministry is impossible in isolation.  Christians belong to each other and need each other. A baby must grow up in a loving family if it is to be balanced and normal. The emphasis today on the individual Christian, as apart from his place in a local assembly, is wrong and very dangerous. Many immature Christians are this ship. They want to be separated from the flock. We are sheep, and we must flock together. We are members of the same body, and we must minister to one another.

Farewell  April. As we usher a new month, let us worship our God for He is a God of love and peace and we grow together in Love and Peace.
