The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Assurance of God’s Victory Over The Enemy

“My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.” – Psalm 57:7

In this psalm, David appealed for mercy twice. And in this verse, David twice expressed his steadfast confidence in God.  David was alone in the cave and the troubles were all over him, but he has fixed his heart in God. And that is the secret for his song. The steadfast heart led to a singing heart. Neither Satan, nor Saul, nor the Philistines stopped him from honoring God. Even from the cave, David could imagine his song of praise extending to the nations and among the peoples.

Faith lifts us high above the personal sense of pain and creates a passion for the exaltation of God among the nations.
