The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Peace of God

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
‘Peace from Prince of peace’
This entire letter to thessalonians is about the Day of judgement, His wrath, eternal destruction, coming of anti-christ, upcoming wickedness and also about lazy and undisciplined Christian. But the letter opens and closes with the Peace from the LORD.
His peace is not at all affected by any troubles or persecutions. It is perfect inner peace which brings comfort, hope and joy. As mentioned in Philip. 2:7 – His peace that passes all understanding.
Apostle paul, here wishes for such Lord’s peace to be granted *constantly* and *always*
But, His peace – calmness in mind, stillness in heart and and contentment of soul is experienced only when we blindly believe and entrust all things unto the Lord, who is in control of our life and it’s happenings.
