The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Feelings vs Facts.

Psalm 13:5 – I have trusted in Your loving kindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

Psalm 13 starts with distress, but ends with hope and rejoicing.

Psalmist David expresses his feelings that God had forgotten him, neglected him and abandoned him, cause he was not getting answers to his prayers.

But his persistent prayers enabled him to overcome all his feelings and to trust in the facts.

The facts are that God is merciful and He is going to save him according to His mercy.
This resulted him in hope, till the point that he rejoiced in his heart.

Let us be encouraged today from the life of David, not to give up praying for our delayed petitions till our feelings be overcome by the facts of God.

God is merciful, gracious, faithful, never changing and everlasting.

Have a Blessed day!
