Psalm 91:14 – “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
It very common for us to say that God loves us. And it’s very true that God so loved the world. We are so privileged.
But imagine how much more privileged is he, that God acknowledging the love a person has for Him.
Bible says that God searches our heart, examines our minds, and He knows our motives. Yet, how blessed is the person whose integrity is proven by the Lord Himself.
What would a person who sets his love upon God do?
– Spends more time with God
– He acknowledges the authority of God in his life
– He trusts in the grace of God for good or bad
– Shows his love and affection to God by obeying His Word
– Completely surrenders his heart to God
Thereby, God’s deliverance and honor is bestowed upon the one who loves the Lord.Who would not want to be that chosen one of God?
Psalms 91 is a great reminder for us today, as God calls us to set our hearts upon Him and to enjoy the benefits of his blessings and fulfillment of His promises.
