The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Just as the LORD forgave you.

Col 3:13 …  just as the LORD forgave you, so also should you.

The fact that we are believers is that our sins are forgiven.

Christ forgave us:
1. Freely – he did not hesitate or delay when we asked him
2. Entirely – he pardoned all our offenses
3. Forever – he did it so as to remember our sins no more and treats as if we have not sinned.

Having received such a great pardon, are we giving the same extent of forgiveness to others when they harm, hurt or offends us?

Sometimes, our ego,  our self righteousness, our anger becomes a blockage to the flow of forgiveness from us, leaving our hearts hardened. The unforgiveness hurts us, it steals our happiness and makes our lives miserable.

But we are called to forgive in the light of the cross. We are to free others as we have been freed because of Christ’s finished work.

It is our duty to forgive others imitating the forgiveness through which we are saved!

Have a Blessed Day!
