If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it – John 14:14
Jesus made this statement when Judas was not with them (went out to betray)– John 13:30, It means he is addressing the remaining disciples (true believers). To ask in Jesus name foremost thing is the person must be a believer in Christ.
And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him – 1 John 3:22
Defiantly some Jews went around driving evil spirits in the name of the “Jesus” – Acts 19:13. We read the evil spirits overpowered them – Acts 19:16. Taking “Jesus” name in vain made the Jews to run naked and bleeding. We read in John 15:7 that a person can ask whatever they wish, if, that person abides in Jesus and His words abide in that person.
Jesus – Name above all names!!!!
