… God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (Rev. 7:17)
After Adam and Eve have disobeyed God, joy was lost, and sorrow has entered into the world. Even worse, when Cain killed Abel, the first death happened in this world. From that time, all humans have been going through mourning, crying, pain, and death. But God had a plan to restore eternal joy in our lives.
“Joy was lost” in the Garden of Eden, but “joy was restored” when Jesus entered into the world, as the angel said, “I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people” (Luke 2:10). In this world, even though there is “mourning”, “crying” or “pain”, God is promising that He shall wipe away all tears from our eyes. Let us have hope and faith so that God will bring out of all “fears”, “afflictions” and “troubles”.
