In the 1992 Olympics, Derek Redmond started the 400m race with full rigor and speed. A few minutes later he tore his hamstring and fell. Even though he was in pain, he got up and pushed forward. His father ran from the stands and helped his son finish the race.
Christian life is a marathon, a long journey consisting of ups and downs. It may seem hard, filled with trials, temptations, and guilt. In the light of all this, we may feel like giving up. But, our Heavenly Father is with us on this journey. He will help us let go of our past and move forward, to grow in the knowledge of Him and in our relationship with Him, day by day!
