‘Lord’ is a title given to someone who has authority, control or power. King David after experiencing all the riches, power and honor in this world, acknowledges that there is nothing good in his life apart from God. He declared God to be the LORD over his life.
Who is like the LORD our God? There is no one! He is strong and mighty and the only One who is in control over our lives. We might have all the wealth and power in this world, but it is nothing when compared to His presence in our lives. Today, let us surrender ourselves, our family and everything in our lives under his Lordship and trust Him!
