Slavery and racial discrimination were rampant in the western world. During this period, Martin Luther King Jr. stood up and fought for civil and economic rights and called for an end to slavery and racial discrimination of African Americans.
Trials and struggles are a part of human life. Our biggest struggle is against sin! Jesus Christ came into the world, paid the penalty and brought us out of the slavery of sin. But, as long as we are in this world, we will continue to face battles against the evil one. Be of good cheer, our Lord has overcome the world! He will return and take us home where there will be no more pain, only joy un-explainable!
