“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free…” Galatians 5:1
When the people of Israel cried out to God in their bondage, He heard their cry and delivered them out of Egypt. During their journey to the promised land, they faced many battles, but God delivered them from them all. In their final leg of their journey, Moses sent 12 spies to survey the promised land, out of which 10 of them gave a bad report fearing the enemy. When the people heard the bad report, they wanted to return to Egypt and to their bondage.
Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to set us free from the bondage of sin, granting us Salvation, which is by faith alone and not by our good works. Are we living in the freedom which Christ has granted us? Or are we drifting back to sin? Today, let us examine our lives and make a decision to live in freedom in Christ!
