Not every teacher is a good leader and not every leader is a good teacher. But our God is perfect in both teaching and leading. He is simply perfect in all of His ways. Even the two most impressive words of our Lord Jesus Christ are “Learn of Me” and “Follow me”. Jesus not only taught us to pray but also leads us to pray, for He prayed. Jesus not only taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who despitefully use us, but He led us by praying His Final prayer, “Father, forgive them”. Jesus taught us to “Seek first the Kingdom of God”, So, indeed, He did, for it was His meat and drink to do His Father's will. He truly "teaches us to profit, and leads us by the way we should go." He teaches us our folly, and weakness, and sin; and then leads us into His wisdom, and strength, and holiness. Like a lovely parent, God teaches and directs us. We should listen to Him because peace and righteousness come to us as we obey His word.
