Now faith is the assurance of this hoped for and conviction of things not seen Heb 11:1
All of the heroes of Faith mentioned in Heb 11, has one basic principle: Living by faith not by sight.
They chose to leave their comforts and to suffer afflictions, embracing the promises of God, because they were fully convinced by them. They couldn’t see the promises being fulfilled in their lifetime, but they pleased God.
All of those promises were fulfilled through Christ and His finished work
Are we convinced enough to believe in the promises we have in our Lord Jesus Christ? Then it will be our life’s principle as well, that we might walk by faith, but not by what we see. Because, without faith it is impossible to please God.
