Prayer of Hannah was one of the most powerful prayer of faith recorded in the Bible, that sets an example for us.
Before her prayer she was:
– afflicted and sorrowful
– sore and bitter
– filled with intense pain and deep grief
She poured out her soul before the Lord in humility. When the High Priest Eli pronounced her blessing, her countenance changed.
After her prayer, she:
– was confident in God*
– experienced peace even before her petition was answered
– left the temple with an expectant heart
As we bring our petitions in faith before the Lord, may we also experience the same peace even before the provision of the God, through our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. In John 14:27, Jesus had promised ”Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world gives unto you.”
