The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God of Restoration

*“I…will treat you better than at first …I am  the Lord.” Ezekiel 36:11.*
This prophecy is concerning the desolations of the land of Israel. God will restore Israel so that all of the nations of the world will “know that I am the Lord.”
When God, restores _He_ does not take you back to the former way of life. Instead, God’s restoration leaves you better than you once were. “Even today, I declare that I will restore double to you.” – Zec. 9:12
And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. – Job 42:10.
Restoration is not achieved through one’s actions, rather the love of the Restorer. We are God’s workmanship, products of His design. The plans for our restoration did not originate from us, but Him. If we embrace every aspect of  His repair, we will enter a New and perfect sphere of life. Rev. 21:1-5.
