The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God’s household!

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but of God’s household.” (Eph. 2:19).
“I will build My church” (Matt. 16:18), which is a great promise that Jesus has made, using that same metaphor, the apostle Paul described the building materials Jesus was using, and they weren’t physical stones and boards. Instead, Paul declared that Jesus’ church was being built of saints, of holy ones who were “members of the household of God.” Every individual who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are immediately brought fully into the family of God and recognized as a saint, a fellow citizen of the household of God.
The cornerstone is a metaphor which describes how important Jesus is. Isaiah 28:16 says, “So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: ‘See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.’”
Based on the Bible, the gospel of Jesus Christ is a sure foundation. On this foundation, God builds up our lives and the lives of all of his people in unity and love. Jesus lived the righteous life that we could not live up to.  Jesus solved our sin problem so that we are “no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.” (Eph. 2:19). When we have Christ the cornerstone, we have everything we need for a secure and meaningful life.
