I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid – Lev 26:6
Most of the blessings of God are conditional. In this verse God is promising the Israelites, if they follow His instructions whole heartedly, He will bless them with His peace (“When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even the man's enemies live at peace with him.” – Prov 16:7)
The blessings of God will allow us to lie down in peace because He cares for us. “In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety” – Psalm 4:8.
In the unprecedented situation, many have lost their business, Jobs, health and some even lost their life, but the word of God is saying not to be afraid. Even in the chaos (no answer, no hope), we don’t need to lose our peace or afraid because He alone has the final say. God will make a way where there seems no way.
Prayer: Father God, help us to obey your commandments and follow you wholeheartedly, Keep our feet from stumbling. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
