What is good about Good Friday?
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures
1 Corinthians 15:3,4
Jesus Christ, who did no sin and spoke no sin – became the pure sacrifice to bear the sins of others. It is because of His great sacrifice on the cross that we are saved from eternal damnation. Jesus willingly took upon Himself the cruel death so that we can be saved and enjoy the gift of eternal life. Isn’t that good? Certainly, it is!
