“Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12
Jesus is coming soon. Firstly He took the form of a man to give up His life for our sins thereby made us eligible to the Eternal Kingdom.
The above verse is the greatest hope for the Church ( body of Christ ). Behold He is Coming soon as a King. How blessed would it be to encounter Him.
Lo He speaks of the rewards too. Who on this Earth would reject to be rewarded. Assuredly no one would. Yet the clause is ‘according to our work ‘.
Either good or bad we will be rewarded accordingly.
May our works be pleasing in His sight.
May we maintain a clear conscience and a transparent life before Him.
May we put on the garment of God’s righteousness and be rewarded the best.
