God established a pattern for everything and to every pattern His divine purpose is associated.
God instructed Moses to build the tabernacle according to His pattern, which is a replica of the heavenly tabernacle. And the priesthood that was in the tabernacle was a shadow of our true High Priest, Lord Jesus Christ who offered up himself. He is our mediator, whose ministry was established upon better promises.
God, in His perfect mind, forms a purpose; then He reveals His pattern, with admonitions to follow His instructions. Only when we follow Gods pattern, is Gods purpose carried out.
Lord, please help us to acknowledge and follow the pattern that you have set for us, that your purposes might be accomplished in our lives. Amen!
