The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Make your opportunity your destiny.

“And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the Lord, they shall no more say, "The ark of the covenant of the Lord." It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again.” Jeremiah 3:16.

When I was younger, I use to take things differently, think differently and act differently, but as I grew, I learned new ways to act and handle things. In this verse, God has spoken all good things to His people and promised them a perfect growth and prosperity.

He wanted them to listen to Him and trust him. Even it seems harsh to them now, they should follow, so His plan for them to take them in a nation where they will be counted as captives of the pagan nation. Plan was not just to punish with their iniquities. His plan was to use them to show the people of the foreign land that He is the ultimate power of this universe. And after the plan is completed, He will bring them back and bless them again with more. This passage is also considered as a prophecy of Jesus Christ, because the antitype of it would become, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word that is made flesh and dwelt among us, dwell in a more glorious manner than it did over the ark, for in him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily; we are brought here in the land of world known, “land of opportunities.” Are we playing our role to glorify Him, and fulfilling His will and purpose of our placements, or are we just too busy in our own lives that we forgot the purpose? We must repent today and realize the true reason why we are placed here in the land of opportunities.
