Deuteronomy 33:26.
There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides across the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.
The word “Jeshurun” is a poetic name for Israel. It is also derived from root word meaning “upright, just, straight”. Our God is just/righteous God and importantly he calls us JUST, not because of our works but because he justifies those who believe in his propitiation a.k.a Jesus.
(so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus – Rom 3:26)
These are one of the last words that Moses wrote, And Moses magnifies both the God of Israel, and the Israel of God. Having blessed all tribes, he concludes this, that their God was not like the vain and foolish gods of other nations, in that He is an eternal and infinite Being. His riding on the heavens denotes the greatness and glory in which he manifests himself to the upper world.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name – Ps 29:2
When we are a people saved by the LORD, it means that God is for us and heaven is on our side!
If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
