The deadliest weapon in the world is tongue. It can make or break a person. As people of God, we should guard our tongue.
With the same tongue we praise God our father and also curse human beings. But scriptures say that it should not be the case – Fresh and salt water cannot come from the same spring.
Sometimes unbelievers use filthy language, and they curse their own kids and family members without knowing word has power.
It is written, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
In 2 Kings 2:24-25, We read when Elisha cursed, 2 female bears came out and mauled 42 of the boys. As a believer in Christ the word we speak has power. Let us use it constructively for the glory of God not for destructive purposes.
Prayer: Father God help us not to talk unwholesome but only what is helpful for building others up according to their need. In Jesus name , I pray – Amen !!!
