You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men (Jer. 32:19)
Someone said, “_if the wisdom of God is compared to the size of water in a sea, our wisdom can be compared to the size of water in a coconut._” We cannot comprehend His great wisdom, counsel, and mighty works.
“_in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge._”
– Col 2:3
Jeremiah had a big problem. His people were taken to captive, and enemies took their land. He knew that God is great in counsel and mighty in works. After he confessed and approached God, the land and people were restored.
The dictionary meaning of counsel is “formal advice.” When you go to God, you don’t need to go formally with appointments. He is our father, and His eyes and ears are always open to us. Let us go to God for any advice, and rest assured that not only you will get an answer, but also you will get a solution. Let us go to our God with a thankful heart, knowing that His great counsel works in our lives. Amen.
